This week I dropped out of the Founder’s Institue program, and I wanted to take a bit of time to digest the lessons learned.
First of all, the program was great, but it was also very fast-paced. I have a good idea, but my heart wasn’t ready to go into execution mode. At least not yet.
How did I know? I had my first sleepless night since I quit my job last year. For me, that’s a significant sign that my mind got ahead of the heart.
I decided that I can’t think this through so the best thing to do is to talk it through. After a series of conversations with the mentors, I realized I’m not letting anyone down like my mind lead me to believe. The choice became incredibly simple. I quit, and I instantaneously got my joy and peace back.
What’s the lesson here? Our body is a wise counselor. It will express what our heart can’t make visible. For example, when we have sleepless nights, it’s time for conversations to find out what’s going on on the inside because our mind is missing something. Something that once exposed will bring back the peace and joy … and as such, simplify our journey forward.
How do you know when your heart is taking a back seat? What’s the most effective way for you to bring the heart back in?
Are you struggling in a relationship? Do you have a specific view of where your relationship should be, but don’t know how to get there?
You are stuck because your mind doesn’t see how you can improve the situation. That’s why you have a hard time taking action. You need someone to show you a new approach that will make transformation simple!
After the Relationship Audit, you will:
1. Understand how your actions are affecting the relationship.
